Structured individual treatment services which are designed to assist adult and adolescent consumers in initiating abstinence, and learning skills for recovery maintenance.

Clinical Supervision

Clinical Supervision provides checks and balances for your work. It provides oversight to be sure you are providing effective, ethical and legal services to clients. Supervision should also help the therapist or social worker develop their skills and help prepare them for licensure.

Services to adolescents and pre-adolescents who have committed a sexual offense ages 7 to 17.

About me

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of North Carolina and Virginia, and a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Washington, DC. I received my Bachelors in Family and Community Services, Masters in Adult Education from East Carolina University and a Masters of Social Work from North Carolina State University. I have worked in mental health and substance abuse field since 2005. I enjoy working with individuals including adults, adolescents and children.

My clinical focus is centered around those that have concerns with anxiety, depression, sexual aggression and substance use. My therapeutic orientation is psychodynamic which includes aspects of Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral, Solution Focused and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I tailor to the needs of each individual client.

I strive to incorporate my knowledge and clinical practice experience into my work with clients. My belief is that our experiences early in life shape how we learn to manage challenges and can often impact our lives well into adulthood. My goal is to provide a safe and comfortable environment for my clients. I look forward to working with you.
