About Me
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of North Carolina, and a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Washington, DC. I received my Bachelors in Family and Community Services, Masters in Adult Education from East Carolina University. I also obtained a Masters of Social Work from North Carolina State University. I have worked in mental health and substance abuse field since 2005. I enjoy working with individuals including adults, adolescents and children.

I am also a Certified Sex Offender Treatment Specialist (CSOTS) who enjoy working with juveniles who have been charged and/or adjudicated of a sex offense who require individual and/or family treatment.

My clinical focus is centered around those that have concerns with anxiety, depression, sexual aggression and substance use. My therapeutic orientation is psycho-dynamic which includes aspects of Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral, Solution Focused and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I tailor to the needs of each individual client.

I strive to incorporate my knowledge and clinical practice experience into my work with clients. My belief is that our experiences early in life shape how we learn to manage challenges and can often impact our lives well into adulthood.
